Kritsana Mingtongkhum

Kritsana Mingtongkhum is a Partner and Head of Trademark and Litigation at Satyapon & Partners, and is recognised as one of Thailand’s leading intellectual property practitioners. With more than 17 years of experience, he advises domestic and international brand owners on trademark prosecution, portfolio management, contentious proceedings, litigation, anti-counterfeiting and enforcement strategies. His commercially focused approach, strategic judgement and understanding of Thai legal and enforcement mechanisms make him a trusted adviser in high-value disputes and brand protection programmes.

Kritsana regularly coordinates enforcement actions with the Royal Thai Police, Customs Department, Department of Special Investigation and other government authorities. He has also played a central role in expanding the firm’s client base and strengthening its position among Thailand’s leading trademark filing and enforcement practices.

Beyond private practice, Kritsana currently serves as General Secretary of the Intellectual Property Association of Thailand (IPAT) and has been elected to a third term on the ASEAN Intellectual Property Association Thailand Committee. He regularly speaks at conferences, seminars and training programmes organised by government agencies, industry bodies and educational institutions. In 2026, the Department of Intellectual Property selected him as the main speaker for its Trademark Professional Course, reflecting his expertise and contribution to Thailand’s intellectual property community.

Kritsana is also an active member of the international intellectual property community and regularly attends major global and regional conferences organised by the International Trademark Association (INTA), the International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AIPPI), the Asian Patent Attorneys Association (APAA) and the ASEAN Intellectual Property Association.
